Communication Center

The Communication Center manages notifications and email configuration for your workspace. Use it to create custom notifications and configure the URLs for rights request pages.

URL path: /data-controllers/{id}/dashboard/settings/communication-center

Access: Go to Settings > Communication Center.

Notifications tab

The Notifications tab lets you create and manage custom notifications for your organization.

Create a notification

The notification creation form includes the following fields:

Field Description
Title The notification title displayed to recipients
Message The notification message body
Severity The severity level of the notification
Frequency How often the notification is sent
Repeat Whether the notification repeats
Send Limit Maximum number of times the notification is sent
Expires At When the notification expires
Repeat delivery Configuration for repeated delivery

Notification Events History

Below the creation form, the Notification Events History table shows a log of all notification events that have been sent.

Emails tab

The Emails tab configures the URLs for rights request pages. These URLs are included in emails sent to data subjects when they interact with your rights management system.

Rights Request Pages

Type Page Name Description
access Access My Data The URL where data subjects can access their data
rectify Account Settings The URL where data subjects can update their account information

Configure these URLs to point to the relevant pages on your website or application where data subjects can exercise their rights.

The Communication Center is actively being developed. The fields and options documented above reflect the current product state. Additional notification types, email templates, and configuration options may be added in future releases.
