Billing & subscription¶
Manage your Dxtra subscription plan and billing details from Settings > Billing in the dashboard.
Plans and pricing¶
Dxtra offers four subscription tiers. All 16 platform capabilities are included in every plan — plans differ in scale limits, not features.
| Plan | Price | Domains | AI regenerations | Languages | Data Subject IDs |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Start | $10/month | 1 | 1/month | EN + 1 | Up to 50K |
| Growth | $25/month | 1 | 2/month | EN + 2 | Up to 200K |
| Scale | $100/month | 1 | 3/month | EN + 3 | Up to 1M |
| Enterprise | $1,000/month | 10 | 10/month | EN + 10 | Up to 100M |
What the limits mean¶
Domains — The number of websites you can connect to Tag Manager and the Transparency Center. Enterprise supports up to 10 domains for multi-brand or multi-region setups.
AI regenerations — When your business context or regulations change, the AI engine regenerates your compliance documents. Each regeneration uses one credit. If you need more, upgrade your plan or contact support@dxtra.ai.
Languages — The number of additional languages (beyond English) for your privacy notices and Transparency Center content. Dxtra uses expert-curated legal terminology glossaries for accurate translations.
Data Subject IDs — The total number of unique individuals whose personal data you process. This is the primary scaling factor. If you approach your limit, Dxtra notifies you in the dashboard.

Upgrade or downgrade¶
Upgrade your plan¶
- Go to Settings > Billing > Your Plan
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select your new tier
- Review the prorated billing change
- Confirm the upgrade
Your new plan takes effect immediately. You are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle.
Downgrade your plan¶
- Go to Settings > Billing > Your Plan
- Click Downgrade Plan
- Review the features and limits that will change
- Confirm the downgrade
The new plan takes effect at your next billing renewal. You retain your current plan's limits until then.
Data Subject ID limits on downgrade
If you downgrade to a plan with a lower Data Subject ID limit and your current count exceeds the new limit, existing data is preserved but you cannot add new data subjects until your count is within the new plan's limit.
Money-back guarantee¶
The Start plan includes a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within the first 14 days, contact support@dxtra.ai for a full refund.
Payment methods¶
Add or update a payment method¶
- Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
- Click Add Payment Method
- Enter your card details
- Click Save
Your payment information is processed securely through Stripe. Dxtra never stores your card details directly.
Remove a payment method¶
- Go to Settings > Billing > Payment Methods
- Click the remove icon next to the card you want to delete
- Confirm removal
You must have at least one active payment method on file while your subscription is active.
Invoices and billing history¶
View and download invoices¶
- Go to Settings > Billing > Billing History
- Find the invoice you need
- Click Download to save as PDF
Invoices are automatically sent to your registered email address each billing cycle. If you need invoices sent to a different email (e.g., accounts payable), update the billing email in your account settings.
Billing cycle¶
Dxtra bills monthly from the date you first subscribed. For example, if you subscribed on March 15, your billing date is the 15th of each month.
Cancellation¶
To cancel your Dxtra subscription:
- Go to Settings > Billing > Your Plan
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm cancellation
Your account remains active until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation:
- You can still log in and export your data
- Your Transparency Center goes offline
- Processing activity logs and compliance documents remain accessible for 30 days
- After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted
Export before cancelling
Before cancelling, export your compliance documents, processing activity logs, and DSRR records from the dashboard. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
